中：从前，有一个可爱的小姑娘，外婆送了一顶红色天鹅绒做的小帽子给她，她天天都戴着小红帽，因为这让她看起来更可爱。于是，大家都叫她“小红帽”。

英：Once upon a time there was a dear little girl.Once her grandmother gave her a little cap of red velvet.The cap suited her so well that she would never wear anything else,so she was always called"Little Red-Cap".

中：有一天，妈妈对小红帽说：“小红帽，把这块蛋糕和一瓶红酒拿去给你外婆，她生病了。”

英：One day her mother said to her,"Little Red-Cap,here is a piece of cake and a bottle of wine;take them to your grandmother.She is ill."

中：外婆住在树林里，离村子有点远。小红帽拿着蛋糕和红酒出发了，她刚走进树林，遇到了一只大灰狼。

英：The grandmother lived in the wood,one and a half miles from the village.Just as Little Red-Cap entered the wood,a wolf met her.

中：大灰狼想吃掉小红帽和她的外婆，于是抢先去了外婆家。

英：The Wolf wanted to eat her and her grandmother,so he went to her grandmother's home first.

中：大灰狼跑到外婆家敲门，它模仿小红帽的声音叫门。外婆就让大灰狼进来了。

英：The Wolf knocked the grandmother's door,and used Little Red-Cap's voice.Her grandmother let the wolf in.

中: 大灰狼进屋后一口吞下了外婆，然后它穿上外婆的衣服，戴上她的帽子，躺在床上。

英：The Wolf went straight to the grandmother's bed,and devoured her.Then he put on her clothes,dressed himself in her cap,laid himself in bed.

中：小红帽到了外婆家后，惊讶地发现屋门开着，她进屋以后有种奇怪的感觉。

英：The Little Red-Cap was surprised to find the cottage-door open,and when she went into the room,she had a strange feeling.

英：Little Red-Cap curiously asked,"Grandmother,why are your ears and eyes so big?"The wolf said,"In order to hear you better and see you clearer!"

中：小红帽说：“外婆你的嘴巴好大好可怕啊！”“这样我才能把你吃了啊！”大灰狼阴森森地说出这句话后，一口吞下了小红帽。

英：Little Red-cap said,"Grandmother,what a terrible big mouth you have!""The better to eat you with!"And scarcely had the wolf said this,then with one bound he was out of bed and swallowed up Little Red-Cap.

中：大灰狼又躺回床上睡了，还发出很大的鼾声。一位猎人恰巧经过小屋。

英：The wolf lay down again in the bed,fell asleep and began to snore very loud.A hunter was just passing the house.

中：当猎人来到床边，发现大灰狼正躺在床上，他明白发生了什么。于是他拿了一把剪刀，剪开大灰狼的肚子，小红帽和外婆都出来了。

英：When the hunter came to the bed,he saw that the wolf was lying in it.He knew what had happened.He took a pair of scissors,and began to cut open the stomach of the wolf.The little girl and her grandmother came out.

中：他们一起把大灰狼的肚子里塞满了石头，然后，外婆用针线把大灰狼的肚皮缝了起来。

英：They stuffed the wolf's belly with stones,then grandmother sewed up his belly.

中：大灰狼醒来想要喝水，但石头太重了，它一头栽到井里淹死了。

英：The wolf awoke,he wanted to run away,but the stones were so heavy that he fell down at once.
